My love affair with Knysna commenced during my  holidays here  when my late father Eric owned a house at the Heads. He taught me through his paintings of the natural beauty of the area. I was drawn back recently and now have the privilege of residing on the waters’ edge on Thesen Islands with my husband Klaus and my son Dean.  Before Dean was born, I had worked in Johannesburg as a personal assistant to the director of an equity management business, drawing up legal contracts for franchises such as the Baron group. 

I wrote my board exam in 1988 in Cape Town where I was born and grew up.  Only now have I decided to utilise my qualification as an estate agent and this is, without a doubt, the right environment for me.  The magnificent lifestyle Thesen Islands offers, motivated us to settle here and raise our son.

I grew up in a family where fishing and boating were a way of life and we spend most of our leisure time on the water baiting, fishing and enjoying the estuary.

I am passionate about skippering both friends and clients through the canals and waterways and sharing with them, so much that Knysna has to offer.
